The GameKeeping area of the British Shooting Show is set to expand for the 2017 event. The National Gamekeepers Organisation, the representative body for UK gamekeepers will sponsor the ‘Gamekeeping Hall’ along with the British Shooting Show’s media partner Countryman’s Weekly. With growing public interest in the countryside and conservation it will certainly attract many visitors attending the event.
Tim Weston of the National Gamekeepers Organisation attended a planning meeting with organizers of the British Shooting Show together with Steve Grant and Tracey Allen from Countryman’s Weekly. The new larger hall will allow gamekeepers to see and buy the latest equipment as well as meet with leading experts to get the latest information and advice. John Allison, owner of the British Shooting Show said ‘’I have talked with many show visitors as well as traders in the industry about the aspects of gamekeeping and the importance of educating the public. This is something that the British Shooting Show is in a position to facilitate. It’s somewhere anyone with an interest in gamekeeping can come along meet with others who share the same interest and gain more knowledge by speaking with experts from the industry’’.
The British Shooting Show is specific to shooting and shooting related activities and is the largest trade and retail show in Europe. The show makes a welcome return to the Stoneleigh Park Exhibition Center, Warwickshire on the 10th to 12th February 2017.
